Dalyan
 
Dalyan lies on a bend in a 5 km river linking exquisite Lake Koycegiz and 5 km long Iztuzu beach, famous for its Caretta turtles. 25 minutes from Dalaman airport, it is a small, laid back town in a magnificent natural setting.
 
Development is controlled as the Dalyan area was Turkey's first protected area. Easy access to everywhere and not too touristy.
