Kavarna

Kavarna is steeped in history, the town dates from Thracian times and is dotted with ruins of Roman villas and walls, medieval buildings and churches. Popular tourist attractions in the area include the cape of Kaliakra, two nature reserves and the lovely town of Balchik famous for its exotic botanical gardens, the largest in the Balkans.

Kavarna is a busy port town and offers local bars, shops, restaurants, cinema and two modern hospitals.

This is the only golfing area on the Black Sea Coast and has 3 major golf courses, two designed by world famous golf player Gary Player and a third currently under construction, designed by Ian Woosnam, making this an ideal base for golfing enthusiasts.
